Preliminary System Layout

Solar PV arrays must be designed to meet site-specific conditions and to optimize production. Based on these project constraints, Solar Energy Services will create a preliminary system layout taking into account: usable rooftop and/or ground space, equipment specifications, and budgetary parameters to optimize all available resources resulting in maximized power production.

The purpose of this deliverable is to generate a preliminary layout that will aid in the creation of energy models, which provide direct feedback on design and production optimization. This deliverable will address:

1. Solar module physical characteristics
2. Racking characteristics
3. Preliminary module counts
